Job summary

Walmart in Red Wing, MN is seeking an Overnight Stocking Coach to lead and develop store teams, implement business initiatives, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role focuses on driving sales, managing costs, and executing merchandising and inventory processes to deliver results.

Responsibilities include supervising hourly associates, communicating goals, and promoting a culture of belonging while adhering to company standards and values.

Qualifications

• Two years’ of college; OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, CBC and Firearms Authorized Training may be required.
• Associates will be required to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments (e.g. Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).
• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University; general work experience supervising 5+ direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring and firing.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, touring stores and providing feedback.
• Drives financial performance and sales by reviewing PL statements, budgeting, forecasting and controlling expenses in the designated area.
• Provides supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates through hiring, training, mentoring and setting clear expectations.
• Ensures compliance with policies and procedures and promotes ethics and integrity across the operation.
