Job summary

Meijer in the United States is seeking a Stocking Clerk to support store operations by stocking shelves, assisting customers, and merchandising with a friendly, efficient attitude.

You will stock and move products, pull backstock, and maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead, with a focus on teamwork and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes and procedures.
• Calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
