Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to keep shelves stocked with a variety of food and grocery products and ensure a great shopping experience for customers.

You will move product from pallets or carts to correct shelf locations, pull backstock, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Overnight shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead while collaborating with leaders and teammates.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.
• Follow processes in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back-room areas.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
