Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. in Raytown, MO is hiring an Overnight Stocker to keep shelves full and organized for the morning rush. You will unload trucks, rotate product, tag shelves, and maintain backroom organization while supporting the overnight team.

This role is physically demanding and requires night and weekend shifts. No prior experience is needed; we provide training and growth opportunities in a friendly, team‑oriented environment at a busy grocery store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of similar or related work experience preferred.
• We happily train and support you as you grow.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and help them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, and carrying heavy purchases.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product, and maintain backroom organization.
• Monitor mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, and report issues.
• Organize stock for efficiency and restock damaged items.
• Tag shelves with overstock and understock drawers for accurate input.
• Report new or different items to the scanning coordinator for system input.
• Work with teammates to ensure a smooth, efficient overnight operation.
• Maintain Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards and company policies.
• Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed.
