Job summary

The Overnight Steward at The Dinex Group LLC's Brasserie Boulud – New York is responsible for restoring and preparing the kitchen and back-of-house facilities for the next day. Working after service, you perform deep cleaning, sanitation, equipment maintenance, and organizing to ensure the restaurant opens in pristine condition.

We seek a self-motivated, detail-oriented candidate committed to the highest cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards expected in a fine dining environment.

Qualifications

• Previous stewarding, dishwashing, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Availability to work overnight, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial dishwashing equipment to clean and sanitize all dishes and service ware after service.
• Perform deep cleaning of kitchen stations, equipment, refrigeration, shelving, and surfaces.
• Clean ovens, grills, ranges, fryers, hoods, and other kitchen equipment per schedules.
• Sweep, scrub, sanitize, and mop kitchen and back-of-house floors.
• Organize storage areas and restock items for the morning shift.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety regulations.
• Secure cleaning equipment and ensure stewarding areas are organized before end of shift.
• Perform additional cleaning projects as assigned.
