Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Sterile Processing Associate for the Integrated Services Center in Omaha, NE. This full-time, overnight position supports perioperative teams by decontaminating, cleaning, and sterilizing instruments to uphold patient safety.

Eligible candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and prefer sterile processing experience with knowledge of instrument sets and sterilization chambers. Training on first shift is provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• High school education or equivalent required.
• Written and verbal communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, clean and sterilize surgical instruments.
• Provide support to Perioperative services and liaise with surgical specialties.
• Operate sterilizers and decontamination equipment.
• Ensure instrument decontamination for patient safety and infection control.
