Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to decontaminate, inspect, package and sterilize medical instrument sets for patient use. You will help ensure sterile equipment availability and support efficient SPD operations.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, with Sterile Processing Certification preferred and about 1+ year of surgical experience preferred. Evening shift hours are 10pm–6:30am, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Sterile Processing Certification preferred.
• 1+ year of surgical experience preferred.
• Knowledge of instrumentation helpful.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect instruments.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and sets.
• Keep accurate records of sterilization processes and compliance.
• Handle sterilized items carefully to maintain sterility.
• Support teamwork and maintain high productivity.
• Comply with safety policies and regulatory requirements.
