Job summary

A healthcare facility in Chicago seeks a Registered Sleep Technologist to perform polysomnography and titrations. The role involves preparing patients, recording studies, and maintaining equipment. Qualifications

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Care Technologist (RRT) required.
• Knowledge of electrode placement system is critical.
• Experience with sleep technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for diagnostic polysomnograms and CPAP/Bi-PAP titrations.
• Record study observations and score sleep records.
• Maintain monitoring equipment and participate in educational activities.

Skills

Knowledge of the International 10-20 system of electrode placement

Basic cardiac life support certification

Patient interaction skills

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
