Job summary

Park Nicollet Methodist Hospital is seeking a Polysomnographic Technologist to join our team and perform overnight sleep studies under medical supervision. The role requires safe operation of polysomnography equipment and accurate data collection for patient care.

The technologist will monitor equipment, score recordings, and prepare reports that summarize sleep/wake stages, respiratory events, and related findings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with on-the-job Polysomnography training for at least one year.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or registry eligible.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS).

Responsibilities

• Operate overnight polysomnograms under medical supervision.
• Record, monitor, and interpret sleep/wake physiology data.
• Generate concise reports detailing sleep stages, respiratory events, and other clinical events.
• Perform special procedures such as MSLT, pediatric polysomnography, and ambulatory monitoring.
