Job summary

Leggett & Platt Elite Comfort Solutions seeks a Bun Shipping Utility Person to support daily shipping, inventory, and material-handling operations during the 2AM–10AM shift. The role prioritizes tasks at shift start and ensures safe, efficient movement of foam inventory in High-Bay and Looper areas.

Qualifications include a High School diploma or GED and 6 months in manufacturing; heavy machinery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 6 months experience in a manufacturing environment.
• 3 months experience operating heavy machinery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational needs at shift start and prioritize tasks.
• Perform inventory tasks including tagging, scanning, counting bun inventory.
• Operate and monitor conveyors to move foam inventory.
• Operate the Looper crane to move and organize foam safely.
• Participate in monthly inventory counts.
• Support shipping activities like staging, labeling, pallet movement.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Fill in for truck line and crane operators as needed.
