Job summary

People Serving People in Minnesota seeks an Evening Shelter Support Specialist (Guest Services Associate) to ensure outstanding front desk service at our 24/7 shelter for families experiencing homelessness. You will greet guests, process intake, respond to needs, and support a warm, safe environment.

Requirements: Associate degree in Human Services or 1 year direct experience; CPR/First Aid/AED; strong computer skills; teamwork; experience with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Human Services or related field or 1 year direct experience.
• Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.
• Experience working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience working with families or individuals experiencing homelessness preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide hospitality to guests.
• Process guest intake, voucher renewals, and audit report paperwork.
• Respond to guests' requests for information and necessities.
• Answer telephone and relay messages for guests.
• Follow front desk policies to provide excellent guest service.
• Stocking and cleaning responsibilities as needed for shift.
