Job summary

Nurse Next Door San Mateo is hiring in-home caregivers to support seniors in staying comfortably at home. Flexible hours range from 10 to 40 hours per week, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and overnights. No experience required, with paid training and guidance to obtain state registration.

Responsibilities include following care plans, assisting with ADLs, mobility, meals, and medication reminders, plus keeping accurate records and communicating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Eligible to work in California.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass background checks.
• Registration with the CA Home Care Aide Registry required.
• Completion of required training and TB testing per CA rules.
• Ability to read, follow instructions and document care.

Responsibilities

• Execute the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Assist with activities of daily living and personal hygiene.
• Support transfers, ambulation, and mobility as needed.
• Prepare meals, assist with medications reminders, and housekeeping.
• Record services provided and communicate changes to supervisor.
