Job summary

Omni-Serv is seeking Security Screening Officers to support security screening operations at a JFK-based Centralized Receiving and Distribution Center (CRDC).

This off-airport facility requires enforcement of Port Authority SIDA rules and regulations. Officers will be cross-trained and may rotate assignments to meet staffing and operational needs, including an overnight shift from 1:00 AM to 9:00 AM. Compensation is $22.25 per hour with 100% company-paid healthcare benefits.

Qualifications

• NY Security Guard license required.
• Ability to obtain Port Authority SIDA credentials.
• Ability to pass background checks and training.
• Willingness to work overnight hours, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to rotate across functions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray and ETD screening equipment after training.
• Screen goods and identify items needing inspection.
• Conduct secondary screening and physical inspections.
• Operate pallet stacker after training.
• Load screened goods and apply seals with documentation.
• Maintain screening logs and shift records.
• Report alarms, security incidents and equipment issues.
• Follow security procedures and post orders.
• Rotate between assigned functions as needed.
