Qualifikationen

• Must be a local in-state resident.
• Must hold a NYS Licensed Security Guard.
• Must have a valid U.S./State ID.
• Must pass pre-employment screening and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States.
• Must complete SIDA and Security Guard training as needed.

Aufgaben

• Maintain constant visibility, vigilant awareness, and alertness throughout the shift.
• Operate an X‑ray machine, a walk‑through metal detector, and a hand‑held metal detector.
• Write clear and concise reports.
• Verify proper identification before granting access to the building.
• Screen employees and their belongings and resolve all alarms before authorizing access.
• Document any inquiries, incidents, or findings in security.
• Report any criminal or suspicious activities related to the Company’s property, personnel, or operations.
• Inform the management team of any emergency or security incident to take necessary measures to resolve the situation.
• Take charge of emergencies and report them accurately to the security screening supervisor.
• Keep track of keys, radios, and other equipment inventory.
• Complete any additional security‑related tasks as required.
• Comply with all TSA and Port Authority policies and procedures.
