Job summary

GardaWorld in Edison, New Jersey, seeks an Overnight Premise Guard to monitor the facility, protect personnel, and perform light administrative duties. The role requires alert surveillance, logging visitors, and coordinating with management to maintain safety.

You will work 10pm-6am Monday through Saturday, greet and direct staff and visitors, and may perform Driver/Messenger duties depending on needs. Training is provided; a high school diploma and security experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in the security industry.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must obtain and maintain all required guard licenses.
• DOT physical health certificate required.
• Clear and effective oral and written communication skills.
• Afternoon to close shift availability.
• Driver/Messenger duties may be required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor surveillance cameras and perform routine walks through the facility.
• Greet and direct employees, customers, and vendors; log non-site employees entering and exiting.
• Inspect personal belongings or packages for entrants to the facility.
• Handle incoming/outgoing mail and answer the main telephone line.
• Cross-train in other operational areas as assigned by supervision/management.
• Cooperate with staff and be an integral part of the team.
• Perform additional duties as directed by supervision/management.
