Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer in Madison, WI to protect a healthcare location. You will patrol the facility, deter incidents, assist with access control, and provide excellent service to patients, visitors, and staff. The role is full-time with a daytime schedule and shift rotations.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma, 18+ years old for unarmed work, and background/drug screening as part of employment. CPR certification and badge system experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, background checks and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly following site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility, entrances, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management and directions.
• Document incidents and observations according to reporting requirements.
