Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. in Newtown, NJ is seeking a vigilant security officer to observe, report, and deter incidents at client sites. You will patrol premises, guard access points, and ensure safety for personnel and property.

The role offers a night shift Sundays to Wednesdays, 11pm–7am, with starting pay of USD 19.00 per hour. A High School diploma or GED and a valid NJ SORA license are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid NJ SORA license required.
• Must understand English and communicate effectively in writing and speaking.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sundays to Wednesdays 11pm-7am

Pay Range

Starting from USD $19.00/Hr.
