Allied Universal in Cranford, NJ seeks a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Reporting. This role provides reliable hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

The pay rate is $18.00 per hour, with a fixed anchor shift and the option to expand hours as available. Responsibilities include customer service, routine patrols, incident response, access monitoring, and precise reporting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State, county, or city-issued security license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• License requirements depend on state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interiors, exteriors, parking areas, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents and access concerns calmly and professionally.
• Monitor access points and observe movement of people and vehicles per site procedures.
• Document incidents and patrol activity and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
