GardaWorld Security is seeking a Surveillance Security Officer to monitor security systems, verify identities, and report incidents from a dedicated facility in Lake Forest, IL. The role demands sharp observation, attention to detail, and prompt response to threats while maintaining a professional presence on site.

We offer a full-time schedule including days and a 3rd shift (9 p.m. – 5 a.m.), competitive pay of $22 per hour with DailyPay, comprehensive benefits, a 401(k) with employer matching,

Qualifications

• Must have valid IL PERC
• Must have valid Driver's License
• Military/Police background preferred
• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• Strong report writing skills
• Sharp visual activity and concentration skills
• Proficiency with technology
• Security/Military/Law Enforcement experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems to detect suspicious activity
• Document observed events and incidents with detailed reports
• Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
• Conduct regular patrols to ensure premises safety
• Control access to secure areas and verify visitor identities
• Analyze security systems to identify vulnerabilities or malfunctions
• Collaborate with law enforcement in serious situations
