Job summary

HVMG - Hospitality Ventures Management Group in Florida is seeking a vigilant Security Guard/Officer to protect guests, team members, and property. You will patrol the hotel, monitor surveillance, and respond to incidents with professionalism, contributing to a safe and welcoming environment.

The role requires the ability to work a night schedule and engage with guests and staff courteously. Prior hotel security experience is preferred, but not strictly required, as training is provided.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.

Security Guard/Officer

We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard/Officer to ensure the safety and security of our guests, team members, and property. Responsibilities include monitoring the premises, responding to incidents, and enforcing hotel policies in a professional manner. The ideal candidate is observant, calm under pressure, and committed to maintaining a secure and welcoming environment.

Schedule

10:00pm-6:30 am

Key Responsibilities

• You will be the guardian of our hotel, ensuring the safety and security of our guests, staff, and property.
• Your daily tasks will include patrolling the hotel premises, monitoring security systems, and responding to emergencies.
• You will report to the Director of Security, Director of Finance, or General Manager.
• A career as a security guard/officer can lead to opportunities as a security supervisor, security manager, or even director of security within the hospitality industry.

Education & Experience

Hotel experience is always a plus! Applicants should have:

• No educational minimum is required
• Previous experience in this exact position
• A combination of education and experience.
