Job summary

Signal of New England is hiring a Residential Security Officer for The Mason & Maxwell Apartments in Everett, MA. You will patrol the interior and exterior, monitor for suspicious activity, control access, and respond to alarms, providing a visible, reassuring presence for residents and staff.

The position requires Sunday to Wednesday shifts from 9pm to 3am. Overnight security experience is preferred, and local candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Ability to walk long distances and climb stairs.
• Strong observational and communication skills for resident interactions.

Responsibilities

• Foot patrol the interior and exterior of the property during the shift.

Description: As a Signal of New England Security Officer, you will play an integral role in ensuring the safety and security of our client's communities, residents, and culture. This site will be at a new residential apartment building in Everett: The Mason & Maxwell Apartments. Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

• Foot patrol the interior and exterior of the property throughout the shift
• Monitor for suspicious activity and report any incidents or maintenance concerns
• Restrict unauthorized access and engage with the public in a confident manner
• Maintain a visible presence to provide reassurance to residents
• Write detailed reports of daily activities and incidents
• Respond promptly to emergencies or alarms
• Ensure all building access points are secure

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Prior experience workingovernight securityshifts is a plus
• Ability to walk for extended periods and climb stairs regularly
• Strong observational and communication skills
• Comfortable addressing individuals and setting boundaries professionally
• Experience in residential security is a plus, but not required
