Securitas USA is seeking an Overnight Security Officer for a full-time, third-shift position at our Bloomington, IL site. The officer will patrol premises, monitor cameras and alarms, control access, and respond to emergencies to maintain a safe environment.

Requirements include 18+ and a HS diploma or GED, plus strong customer service and attention to detail. Competitive hourly wage and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm under pressure.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant during shift.
• Must respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement and escalation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of premises including buildings, parking lots, and entry points.
• Monitor and operate surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and security equipment.
• Control building access by verifying IDs and managing visitor logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, emergencies, and security incidents.
• Enforce security protocols and company rules for premises and visitors.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and equipment to prevent unauthorized access.
• Investigate suspicious activities and security breaches.

Wage: $17.25/HR

Schedule: 3rd / Overnight shift

The Security Officer protects people, property, and assets by patrolling premises, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to maintain a safe and secure environment. They serve as a helpful professional resource while ensuring everyone on the property follows safety protocols.

Objectives
