Hotel Interurban by Columbia Hospitality, Inc. in Seattle is hiring an Overnight Security professional to help create a safe, welcoming environment for guests and team members during night hours.

You’ll monitor the property, respond to guest needs, support overnight operations, and coordinate with alarm monitoring services and police when needed. If you are dependable, calm under pressure, safety-minded, and enjoy helping people, you’ll fit our values-driven team with weekend availability

Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Excellent verbal and people skills.
• Must read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure building is safe and secure at all times.
• Coordinate with police and alarm monitoring services.
• Oversee airport shuttle transportation.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner.
• Maintain a clean, orderly desk and professional phone manner.

Join the team at Hotel Interurban as an Overnight Security professional and play a vital role in creating a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for our guests and team members throughout the night. In this role, you’ll monitor the property, respond to guest needs, support overnight operations, assist with airport shuttle transportation, and work closely with police and alarm monitoring services when needed. If you’re dependable, calm under pressure, safety-minded, and enjoy helping people, we’d love to have you bring your skills to our values-driven team!

What Success Looks Like: Your Impact

• Responsible for ensuring the building is a safe and secure environment at all times. Maintains a close working relationship with the police and alarm monitoring services
• Responsible for airport shuttle transportation
• Ensures proper building safety and security measures are always followed
• Maintains up to date information of events, both current and future, occurring in the city and county
• Answers the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner within three rings
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly desk at all times
• Responds to all guest’s requests in an expeditious manner

What You Bring

• Two years related experience and/or training
• Valid drivers license with clear record
• Possess excellent verbal and people skills
• The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is required to analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
