Job summary

The Scott Resort & Spa in Scottsdale is seeking an overnight security professional who remains calm, attentive, and service-minded. You will protect guests, associates, and the property during overnight hours, balancing vigilance with the resort’s welcoming hospitality.

Responsibilities include patrols, quick responses to incidents, and clear documentation of events. Must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license; EMT is a plus. This role requires weekend availability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous security, law enforcement, or military experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record required.
• National EMT certification preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct active foot patrols of interior, exterior, and perimeter.
• Identify and promptly address safety risks and security concerns.
• Maintain a safe, welcoming environment for guests and colleagues.
• Respond quickly to emergencies, hazards, disturbances and threats.
• Enforce resort policy with sound judgment and diplomacy.
• Answer security hotline calls and document incidents clearly.
• Monitor CCTV, report unusual activity and alarms.
• Learn resort layout and life-safety systems thoroughly.
• Prepare initial guest/associate incident reports.
• Provide directions and information about resort amenities.
• Escort guests and associates throughout the property and parking areas.
• Assist guests with door lock concerns using handheld devices.
• Communicate clearly via radio, phones, email, and software.
• Support responsibilities from Security leadership as needed.
