Job summary

Villa St. Benedict seeks a security/maintenance attendant for on-site coverage from 8pm to 8am. You will respond to resident requests, secure the campus, and perform light maintenance and rounds across buildings.

Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least 3 years of related experience, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, and a valid Illinois driver’s license. EEO/AA applies.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related area with little direct supervision.
• CPR/AED certified.
• First Aid certified.
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Completely secures campus by checking doors, lights and ground area on a nightly basis. Makes regular rounds of buildings. Completes reports of nightly rounds and occurrences during assigned shift. Assisting with projects and miscellaneous other duties as assigned. Attention to and perpetuation of the core values and mission of Villa St. Benedict are essential.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a related area with little direct supervision
• Experience in using tools and equipment required for this position
• Basic understanding of computers
• CPR/AED certified
• First Aid certified
• Valid Illinois Driver’s License

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED

• PERC helpful
