Job summary

BENCHMARK is seeking a Security/Greeter to be the first point of contact for guests. This role sets the tone for their experience and requires high standards of hospitality. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, monitoring access, and providing information.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, customer service experience, security experience, and strong communication skills. A flexible schedule and First Aid certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred.
• At least one year of customer service experience preferred.
• At least two years of Security or Police experience, preferably with exposure to the hotel environment.
• First Aid/CPR certification, preferably instructor rating.

As the Security/Greeter, you'll be the first point of contact for members, hotel guests entering our esteemed property. Your role is crucial in setting the tone for their experience and ensuring a warm welcome.

General Responsibilities

• Welcome members and guests warmly and professionally, creating a positive first impression.

Specific Responsibilities

• Collaborate with club and hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, providing support as needed to enhance overall service delivery.
• Monitor and control access to the club premises, ensuring only authorized individuals enter.
• Provide information and directions to visitors as needed.
• Maintain vigilance and alertness to any security concerns or suspicious activities, promptly reporting them to appropriate authorities.
• Maintain high standards of hospitality and service excellence consistently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior hospitality/purchasing experience preferred.
• At least one year customer service experience preferred.
• At least two years of Security or Police (military or civilian) experience, preferably with exposure to the hotel environment.
• At least two years of college in a safety, security or hospitality related discipline.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification, preferably instructor rating.
• High quality written and oral communication skills.
