Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Durham, NC. This full-time position involves patrolling a healthcare site, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to respond to incidents in a professional, timely manner. Compensation is $20.84 per hour with rotating day shifts and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years old.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Background check and drug screening are required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at a healthcare and life sciences location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner, following site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior and exterior areas, including business spaces, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter, to identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts or policy concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
