Job summary

DocGo's Exceptional Medical Transportation unit in West Berlin, NJ is seeking a Specialty Care Transport Nurse (SCTU RN) for full-time overnight shifts. The role provides continued critical care during transport to another facility and requires a valid NJ RN license and critical care experience.

Responsibilities include SCT-related procedures under Health Department rules, managing airways and monitoring devices, keeping equipment ready, and maintaining BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications

Qualifications

• Valid NJ RN license is required.
• EMT certification strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience in a critical care area.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification with AHA required.
• TNCC, CERN, CCRN, CTRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervised, directed treatment of common medical diagnose.
• Adhere to clinical and safety standards, protocols, and performance metrics.
• Provide care with cultural sensitivity and professionalism.
• Perform SCT related procedures under Department of Health regulations.
• Ensure ALS equipment is operating properly and the assigned medical bag is stocked.
• Perform resuscitation, as necessary.
• Complete all necessary authorizations and SCTU patient care report.
• Perform patient lifting and transferring of necessary equipment as transport requires.
