Job summary

TempStaff, Inc. is seeking a dependable Sanitation Associate for a 3rd shift at a Jackson Metro Area food manufacturing facility. This contract-to-hire role offers long-term career potential with benefits upon permanent hire.

You will clean and sanitize conveyors, production equipment, and floors from 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, with a possibility of 6–7 days per week as needed. Ability to lift 50 pounds and pass background/drug checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
• Overnight hours required; 3rd shift 9:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m.
• Must be dependable and able to work extended schedules up to 6–7 days per week as needed.
• Experience in custodial or janitorial work is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize the production facility to ensure a safe, sanitary environment.
• Clean conveyors, production equipment, machines; sweep and mop production areas; dispose of trash.
• Perform additional sanitation tasks as assigned.
