Job summary

Ecowize USA is seeking a Sanitation Technician in Jackson, MS to maintain clean, compliant food production areas. You will sanitize equipment, floors, and surfaces, dismantle and reassemble machinery for thorough cleaning, and follow strict safety and regulatory protocols under a Site Manager.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and the ability to work overnight shifts. We provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training; prior sanitation experience is not required.

Qualifications

• Safety, teamwork, quality, and a positive attitude.
• No prior sanitation experience required; comprehensive training provided.
• Overnight shifts, weekends and holidays required.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize equipment, floors, walls, and work areas in assigned plant sections.
• Dismantle and reassemble equipment to ensure thorough cleaning.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow usage guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and areas for readiness for pre-op inspections.
• Follow safety protocols including Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE, and hazardous communications.
• Maintain communication with teammates and supervisors; assist with additional duties as needed.
