Job summary

Pivotal Health in Valhalla, NY, is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to conduct overnight sleep studies for pediatric and adult patients. You will review orders, prepare equipment, apply sensors, and ensure signal quality in a clinical setting.

The role offers a full-time overnight schedule (8:00 PM–6:00 AM) plus sign-on incentives and competitive pay. Strong pediatric experience and NY license are required to join a team dedicated to quality sleep diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Current New York State PSG License.
• Current RPSGT Credential.
• Pediatric sleep experience.
• Completion of an accredited Polysomnography Program.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Required immunizations, health clearances, and/or titers.
• Strong patient care, technical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies in accordance with AASM standards.
• Review physician orders, patient histories, and testing requirements.
• Prepare, calibrate, and troubleshoot sleep diagnostic equipment.
• Apply electrodes and sensors and verify signal quality.
• Monitor patient safety and study quality throughout testing.
• Perform PAP mask fittings and titration studies as appropriate.
• Collect, score, and analyze sleep study data.
• Identify and document respiratory, cardiac, neurological, and sleep-related events.
• Prepare study findings for physician interpretation.
• Maintain accurate patient records and regulatory compliance.
• Deliver exceptional patient-centered care to pediatric and adult patients.
