Job summary

Oneida Health Rehabilitation & Extended Care in Oneida, NY is seeking a Full-time Registered Nurse to provide overnight coverage on the vent unit. The RN will deliver direct nursing care to residents requiring ventilator support and coordinate with the care team under supervision.

Responsibilities include supervising CNAs and ward clerks, updating care plans, communicating with families, and ensuring accurate medication administration and charting.

Qualifications

• Associate of Nursing (Required).
• New York RN license (Required).
• BLS certification (Required).
• Nurses with 1 year of extended care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents as prescribed.
• Supervise CNAs and ward clerks under RN supervision.
• Schedule appointments and communicate details to families.
• Delegate tasks and monitor resident care plans.
• Input orders and notify the pharmacy as needed.
• Document vitals, wound care, and medication administration.
