Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with pediatric and/or adult patients in-home, overnight in the Lancaster, PA area. This role delivers individualized, one-on-one nursing care, supporting daily health needs and promoting a safe, comfortable environment for patients to thrive.

Ideal candidates have strong clinical skills and excellent communication, with a passion for patient-centered care. Flexible scheduling is available, but overnights are currently a huge need.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN/RN in the state where the LPN/RN will practice.
• Current TB or Chest X‑Ray
• Current BLS card
• One-year prior professional nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• On each assignment, it provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiological and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
