Qualifications

• Current RN license in NJ (compact licensure accepted).
• CPR/BLS, AED and First Aid current.
• One year of behavioral health treatment experience preferred.
• Background in Substance Use Treatment and Co-occurring Disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and guides LPNs in client care responsibilities and assignments.
• conducts initial nursing assessments for new admissions.
• administers medications per protocol.
• understands and applies detox protocols.
• completes COWS and CIWA scales with appropriate clients.
• provides medication education to clients and coordinates with medical providers.
