Job summary

Community and Family Resources seeks an Overnight Treatment Specialist to support the women’s Residential Unit in Des Moines, IA. This full-time role assists clinical staff in delivering addiction rehabilitation services and ensures safety and continuity during overnight hours.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and medication management certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days). Lived recovery experience is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assists clients with assessment forms and orienting to services.
• Oversees client whereabouts and behaviors; provides feedback and support.
• Reports issues to staff and assists with rounds and data entry.
• Transport assistance to appointments and activities; assist with basic housekeeping.
• Participates in background checks and TB/drug screenings prior to starting.

Job description

Community and Family Resources is seeking a full-time, Overnight Treatment Specialist for our women's program to assist the clinical counseling staff with providing addiction rehabilitation services to individuals living in our women's Residential Unit in Des Moines Iowa.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assists clients in completion of necessary assessment forms/documents as needed.
• Orients clients to program services.
• Provides oversight and monitoring of clients' whereabouts and behaviors.
• Offers clients feedback and support.
• Reports client issues to staff.
• Assists with light housekeeping duties, including shredding, trash, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and other areas as assigned.
• Answers the phone and forwards calls as needed.
• Assist with transportation of clients to scheduled appointments, planned activities, or as directed by the supervisor.
• Assists with searching client belongings.
• Assists with rounds of the facility.
• Assists with follow up surveys and entering data.

Schedule:

• Type: Full-time
• Hours: Overnight (11:00 pm-7:30 am)Tuesday-Saturday, includes some weekends and holidays

Education and Experience Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Medication Management Certification or ability to obtain certification within 90 days of employment is required.
• A valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance is required.
• Lived experience with recovery is a plus!
