Job summary

Holston Home for Children in Greeneville, Tennessee is seeking an Overnight Residential Counselor to support and mentor adolescents in a residential group home.

You will engage youth in worship, education, work, and recreation within a Christ-centered environment, helping them grow and stay safe overnight.

Candidates must be 21+, have a high school diploma (or higher) and a valid license; physical activity with youth is expected.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate/bachelor’s degree acceptable.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to engage in physical activities with youth.

Responsibilities

• Provide supervision and mentorship to adolescents in a residential home.
• Engage youth in worship, education, work, and recreation.

This position provides an opportunity to support and mentor adolescents in a residential group home environment. It is an opportunity to gain experience in a fulfilling ministry and grow within the agency.

You will have the opportunity to engage with youth in worship, education, work, and recreation in a Christian environment.

Qualifications/ Requirements:

• Candidate must be 21 years of age.


• Have a high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience working with children is preferred OR an associate or bachelor’s degree.


• Valid driver’s license.


• The ability to be involved in physical activities with youth.

Shifts available include overnight awake (4 nights from 10:30 pm – 8:30 am)
