Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited registered nurse program.
• Current RN license without restrictions to practice nursing.
• CPR certification required or eligible to obtain.
• Effective communication with interdisciplinary team and individuals served.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Observe, assess, and evaluate health needs; coordinate preventive care.
• Document nursing care and supervise licensed practical nurses and med techs.
• Teach medication administration and conduct on-site medical clinics as needed.
