Job summary

UNITED NATURAL FOODS, INC. is seeking a Receiving team member for our Joliet distribution center. You will verify quantities received, inspect for damage, and ensure proper put-away with accurate labeling while maintaining a clean, safe work area.

Proficiency with RF systems and receiving procedures is essential. The role offers full-time hours, on-site work, and benefits. Overnight work may be required with a differential.

Qualifications

• Understanding of safety guidelines.
• Warehouse/Operations experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to read and follow receiving documents (POs, bills of lading, packing lists).
• Good judgment when supervision is not immediately available.

Responsibilities

• Verifies quantities of product received against the packing slip/purchse order.
• Checks for damage related to refrigeration, travel or handling during inbound freight.
• Builds pallets for back stock and wraps as needed.
• Ensures labeling on product and pallets is correct for put-away.
