Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Quality Technician for a contract-to-hire role in Tucker, GA. The position supports a QA lab in a manufacturing setting, performing quality tests, maintaining documentation, and providing timely QA information to production and distribution. The role requires adherence to EHS rules and strong attention to detail.

The overnight shift (6:00 PM–6:30 AM, 2-2-3 weekends) offers stability and opportunities to develop testing and chemistry skills within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with quality control, testing, QA and inspection.
• Ability to complete documentation accurately and correctly.

Responsibilities

• Execute and adhere to all EHS requirements and maintain a safe work environment with PPE as appropriate.
• Enter and back-up QA data test results in SAP.
• Maintain equipment and lab inventory to support QA lab.
• Manage obsolete/off-spec/rejected material storage to minimize waste.
• Ensure customer complaints are checked within 48 hours and reported to management.
