Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Laboratory Technician for an onsite role in Coralville, IA. You will analyze data for quality control, perform testing with CE/HPLC and other equipment, and maintain meticulous records. The role requires strict adherence to GMP/ISO 9001 standards, safety procedures, and SOPs, with overnight shift capability.

Contract to Hire position in a fully onsite environment. Ideal candidates hold a four-year life science degree and have strong analytical, documentation, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a life science discipline is preferred.
• Knowledge in biology, chemistry, or related life sciences.
• Experience working under GMP and ISO 9001 quality systems is advantageous.
• Familiarity with quality control, laboratory SOPs, and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently during overnight hours while collaborating with the team.

Responsibilities

• Analyze data and information for quality, consistency, and accuracy across samples.
• Use analytical and sample handling equipment to perform testing.
• Maintain accurate records for samples, products, and instruments.
• Adhere to SOPs, safety regulations, and contamination control requirements.
• Contribute to efficient manufacturing through timely testing and documentation.
• Perform limited maintenance and basic troubleshooting on laboratory equipment.
