Overnight Quality Control Line Attendant

Job Information:

• Located in Jamesburg, NJ (Monroe Township, 08831)
• Direct hire, excellent, excellent, excellent benefits package, 401K, PTO, etc.
• Paying $23/hr + overtime

3rdshift - Two (2) Openings

• 5-days per week = 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM (Monday - Friday) .

• Paying $23per hour

Overnight QC Line Attendant Responsibilities:

• We package food product which is shipped and sold in big box stores all across North America! We hope you want to consider joining our overnight team.
• The mainresponsibility of this job is toensure each food product is being tested for quality at various stages of the manufacturing process. This work is very muchQuality Control related.
• Samples of product are collected for testing, temperature readings, moisture content, viscosity readings and other quality related sample testing is preformed. Lots of training is provided by our teams
• We also inspect the packaging of our product. We look for uniformity &consistency with not just the coloration of our packaging but also the graphic placement, product security and overall accuracy with each line of products we make and distribute.
• Checks shipping labels, lot numbers, batch numbers, package lettering, package seals, inspects/looks for flaws, discoloration, wrong weight/size, incorrect packaged quantity and counts, etc.
• Regularly communicates with and trains operators on why and how non-confirming food product was produced. Investigates for root causes.
• Documents work and actively shares responsibility ensuring data entry is saved electronically (saves MS Excel spreadsheets).

Overnight QC Packaging Line Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required, post high school education desirable but not required.
• At least six (6) months of prior Quality Control manufacturing work experience
• Must be available to work minimum of 40 hours per week plus some overtime when needed.
• Must have clear, legible handwriting
• Strong computer skills, including basic data entry into MS Excel spreadsheets
• Ability to communicate in English with staff. Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus, but not required
• Good at basic math
