Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for the overnight shift to support production on the floor, perform inspections, and guide quality processes. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and adherence to GMP and SOP standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include in-process testing, sample submission, batch review, and daily audits; strong attention to detail is essential for ensuring product safety and quality across all Nestlé brands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing or quality assurance preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working around powders, chemicals and food allergens.
• Flexible to work overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process testing and AQL inspections
• Submit samples for analytical and microbiological testing
• Review batch documentation and production logbooks for accuracy
• Approve pre-startup activities and equipment checks
• Release batch records and work orders
• Conduct daily audits and floor walks to ensure compliance
• Support teams with GMP, SOP, and documentation guidance
• Participate in shift review meetings
• Follow safety rules, GMPs, SOPs, and company policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
