Nebraska Medicine is seeking a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner for Psychiatric Emergency Services on a part-time 0.6 FTE overnight shift (8pm–8am). You will assess patients' psycho-social needs and mental health conditions, and provide evidence-based interventions in collaboration with the health care team.

Under supervision of licensed clinical staff, you will help in discharge planning and addressing social, psychological and rehabilitative needs.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited college in a human services program which provided preparation for professional counseling/psychotherapy.
• Organizational and communication skills required.
• License-eligible as a LMHP/PLMHP in the State of Nebraska; must obtain LMHP/PLMHP privileges within 6 months.
• Obtain Nebraska Medicine Privileges as a Licensed Mental Health Practitioner within six months.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient's psycho-social needs, diagnoses, mental health conditions and provide evidence-based intervention with the care team.
• Assist in meeting social, psychological, rehabilitative, protective, financial and discharge planning needs.
• Under supervision of licensed clinical staff, determine patient needs and coordinate care to support recovery.
