Job summary

Signal Security of SF Bay Area is seeking a part-time security guard for Salinas/Prunesdale. The role involves patrolling the building and surrounding property, maintaining a visible security presence, and promptly addressing suspicious activity.

You will monitor entrances, parking lots, and common areas, while reporting incidents through daily reports. The candidate should have 1–2 years of security or patrol experience, a valid California Guard Card, and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid California Guard Card.
• 1–2 years of security or patrol experience preferred.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must pass background and driving record checks.
• Consistent attendance and professional appearance required.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the building and surrounding property.
• Monitor parking lots, walkways, entrances, and common areas.
• Maintain visible security presence to deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unwanted activity.
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns.
• Address unauthorized individuals and rule violations professionally.
• Assist tenants, customers, and property management when needed.
• Document incidents and complete daily activity reports.
• Contact management, law enforcement, or emergency services when appropriate.
