Job summary

Signal Security of SF Bay Area in San Francisco is seeking a Security Patrol Guard for an on-site patrol position. The role runs on-call shifts with a 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. schedule. Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of security experience and a valid California Guard Card, plus reliable transportation.

Position Details:

• Includes 15-minute break

Requirements:

• Previous security or patrol experience preferred, 1-2 years
• Must have a valid California Guard Card
• Must be able to speak and understand English
• Reliable transportation
• Consistent attendance record
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during the entire shift
• Must be able to walk and patrol the property regularly
• Must pass a background check

Responsibilities:

• Patrol the building and surrounding property
• Monitor parking lots, walkways, entrances, and common areas
• Maintain a visible security presence to help deter theft, vandalism, trespassing, and other unwanted activity
• Observe and report suspicious activity or safety concerns
• Address unauthorized individuals and rule violations professionally
• Assist tenants, customers, and property management when needed
• Document incidents and complete daily activity reports
