Job summary

The Clorox Company is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead a 2nd shift team in Spring Hill, KS. You will drive safety, quality, production, and people development while delivering daily, weekly, and monthly targets in a world-class operation.

Responsibilities include building standard work, coaching crews, conducting GEMBA walks, leading continuous improvement programs, and partnering with Plant HR to boost engagement and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of operational management experience.
• 1+ years with direct leadership.
• People Leadership experience.
• Operational technical experience.
• Strong people and team building skills.
• Team facilitation and consensus building through engagement.
• Exposure to World Class Manufacturing, Lean, or 6-Sigma preferred.
• GMP experience preferred.
• BS/BA – Technical/Engineering, Operations, or Business or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate resources to drive operations and ensure follow-up actions.
• Drive operating results to meet safety, quality, production, costs, and material targets.
• Nurture a safe working environment and develop teams through coaching and mentoring.
• Own development plans for crew leads and ensure leader standard work is completed.
• Lead and track improvement initiatives and manage changeover, startup, and shutdown processes.
• Support production schedule and training programs with HR and QA.
