Night Crew Stock Clerks are essential for ensuring customers receive the products they need promptly and accurately, fostering a positive shopping experience. They spend most of their time on the sales floor, replenishing stock and providing efficient service across various store areas. Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Prior experience in Grocery or related industry
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years old

Job Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, block, and maintain products on shelves, including knowledge of code dating.
• Provide exemplary customer service and greet customers warmly.
• Follow procedures to meet store out-of-stock percentage goals.
• Assist with inventory management, accounts receivable, and ordering functions.
• Monitor product expiration dates.
• Prioritize safety for team members, guests, and products.
• Handle products and equipment according to food safety and safety guidelines.
• Set up displays on the sales floor.
• Unload and store food items in prep areas and coolers.
• Unload products from trucks and break down pallets.
• Load flats with products for the floor and hand-stack them.
• Help maintain backroom efficiency by unloading deliveries.
• Receive and process vendor products.
• Ensure vendors deliver products to the receiving area during scheduled times and manage the number of vendors in the backroom.
• Prepare products for stocking by opening cases, pricing, and loading onto flats if necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment, tables, utensils, and floors.
• Keep the backroom and receiving areas organized and clutter-free.
• Make cardboard bales using the baler and paper crusher.
• Show willingness to learn, understand, and communicate, including tasting and experiencing new products.
• Familiarize oneself with store products to assist customers with questions and suggestions.
• Promote an environment of diversity, inclusion, and respect among team members, customers, vendors, and the community.
