Job summary

Arbor Place is a boutique memory care residence seeking compassionate LPNs and RNs for PRN overnight, weekend and holiday coverage. As the shift lead you will administer medications, monitor residents, and coordinate with families and healthcare providers to ensure individualized care for 16 residents.

The role emphasizes independent nursing judgment, clear communication with the care team, and adherence to established clinical protocols in a small, low-turnover environment.

Qualifications

• Current Maryland LPN or RN license in good standing.
• CPR/BLS certification current.
• Experience with medication administration and direct nursing care.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment on duty.
• Strong communication with residents, families, and providers.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the licensed nurse and shift lead during the assigned shift.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and policies.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns.
• Guide caregivers and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Document medication, treatment, and observations promptly.
• Communicate important updates at shift change for continuity of care.
• Collaborate with physicians, pharmacy, hospice, and other providers.
• Maintain a safe, resident-centered environment.
