Guardian Angel Home Care Inc. in Commerce, Michigan is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to care for a ventilator-dependent patient in the patient’s home, overnight from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM.

This private duty role offers one-on-one nursing care and the opportunity to make a direct impact in a home setting. The ideal candidate holds an active Michigan RN license, CPR certification, and a valid driver’s license, with ventilator experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Michigan
• Current CPR certification
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ventilator experience preferred
• Private duty, home care, ICU, or respiratory care experience preferred
• Must be comfortable working in a home with cats and dogs
• Must be reliable, professional, and able to work independently

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care during assigned shift
• Monitor patient condition and report any changes appropriately
• Manage ventilator care and related skilled nursing needs
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Assist with patient safety, comfort, and daily care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Communicate with the care team, family, and clinical leadership as needed
• Follow agency policies, physician orders, and the patient’s individualized Plan of Care

Skills
