Job summary

Ocean Spray Cranberries is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor for the 3rd shift in Kenosha, WI. You will lead a team of maintenance staff to keep plant equipment running safely and efficiently, schedule preventive and corrective maintenance, and support production goals.

You will partner with plant managers, participate in budget planning for maintenance and capital projects, and promote food safety and EHS initiatives as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in mechanical, electrical or industrial engineering or related major or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in a supervisory role in a manufacturing environment
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent understanding of manufacturing operations
• Strong ability to influence, provide leadership, work in a team environment or independently
• Able to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Good facilitation/training skills

Responsibilities

• Direct, coordinate and facilitate the daily activities of a team of skilled employees to ensure maintenance is completed safely, timely and cost-effectively.
• Ensure standards for product quality, equipment, and operator performance are maintained and that cost-effective technology is used to maximize production.
• Assist in maintenance budget development, monitor spending, and report operating costs.
• Collaborate with plant managers to maintain a positive employee relations environment and address labor issues.
• Work with Human Resources to hire, train, develop, and appraise staff.
• Coordinate with EHS to ensure environmental compliance activities.
• Encourage reporting of food safety issues and initiate corrective actions.
